CBBN Cross-Over Games Previewed


CBBN Cross-Over Playoffs

 

Here is a look at the Cross-Over games that are happening this week.  There are some great matchups and some playoff implications here for sure.  Have a look at the match ups and some of the player to watch right here!

 

 

 

Cascade 5: Richland (3-5) at Columbia 1: Wenatchee (8-0) 

 

 

 

  The Bombers roll into the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee Friday night looking for the big upset. Richland has a stingy defense which ranks 6th in the CBBN overall. Their offense is sparked by league's #3 ranked rusher in Jake McKinney who has totaled 1008 yards on 178 carries with 8 touchdowns. Their passing attack is led by quarterback Hayden Hilty who has thrown for 589 yards and 7 scores through the airways.

 

   Wenatchee is all about super line play led by Idaho football recruit Mike Marboe. With Big Mike paving the way the Panthers have amassed the most yards on the ground in the CBBN. Leading the way is the conference’s top rusher in Jacob Sealby who has carried 196 times for 1382 yards and 9 scores. Fellow running back Blair Dorn has also rushed for 417 yards and 3 TD's.

 


 

 

 

Cascade 4:Eastmont (3-5) at Columbia 2: Southridge (6-1)

 

 

   The Wildcats from East Wenatchee head to Lampson stadium in Kennewick Friday to battle the Suns. Eastmont is led by the league's #3 reception leader in Darren Spaeth who has 34 catches for 287 yards. Running back Josh Campos has added 293 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns.

 

   Southridge is led by the league's #1 defense giving up only 195 yards a contest. Offensively the Suns are paced by the CBBN's #4 rusher in transfer running back Dallin Palmer who has torched defenses for 996 yards and 11 scores on the campaign. Quarterback Stephen Garcia has thrown for 698 yards and 6 touchdowns through the air.

 


 

 

Columbia 3: Moses Lake (5-3) at Cascade 3: Walla Walla (5-3)

 

 

   This should be the top matchup of the night in the cross-overs when the high flying Chiefs come to Borleske Stadium in Walla Walla to battle the Blue Devils. Moses Lake brings in it's high powered passing attack led by quarterback Dylan Signorelli who is the #2 passer in the league with 1581 yards and 17 touchdowns. His favorite targets have been wideouts Mitchell Hill with 528 yards and 4 touchdowns and Jordan Wilks with 449 yards and 8 td's.

 

   Walla Walla is also a pass happy ball club led by the conference's #4 ranked quarterback in Micheal Weisner who  has thrown for 1289 yards and 16 touchdowns. Weisner has completed 84 passes on 155 attempts this year. His favorite target on the season has been standout wide receiver Gary Winston who has hauled in 24 catches for    399 yards and 9 td's. Their ground game is led by Austin Schilling who has rolled for 781 yards and 6 scores.

 


 

 

Columbia 4: Kennewick (3-4) at Cascade 2: Kamiakin (6-2)

 

 

  This cross town rivalry is renewed again Friday night in a double header at Lampson stadium in Kennewick. The Lions come in being led by their talented quarterback Trent Brown. Trent has completed 70 of 133 passes for 984 yards and 12 touchdowns on the campaign. Brown's favorite target has been standout wide receiver Drew Loftus who has 25 catches for 401 yards and 9 touchdowns.

 

   The Braves from Kamiakin have been paced all year by the league’s top rated quarterback in Corey Hutchinson. Corey has completed 125 of 245 passes for 1713 yards and 15 td's. Kamiakin also boasts the top receiver in the CBBN in Tim White. Tim has caught 60 balls for 908 yards and 9 touchdowns this season.

 

 


 

 

 

Columbia 5: Pasco (2-5) at Cascade 1: Eisenhower (8-0)

 

 

   The Bulldogs from Pasco high head to Zaepfel stadium in Yakima to battle the Cadets on Friday under the lights. Pasco has been led by quarterback Josh Morris who has thrown for 1075 yards and 9 scores on the season. Wideouts Austin Wilborn with 27 catches and Jacob Price with 21 grabs lead the aerial attack. Running back Devante Lamb leads the Bulldog ground game with 462 yards and 3 touchdowns.

 

   Eisenhower is led by talented running back Joe Fuerst who has blistered defenses for 1203 yards on 182 carries with a league leading 17 scores. Ike's passing attack is led by the conference's  #3 passer in James Lopez. James has thrown for 1371 yards and 10 touchdowns on the year. Wide receiver Antonio Martinez ranks 4th in the cbbn with 30 catches for 714 yards and 7 touchdowns. Ike's defense is led by one of the state's top linebackers in Senior Seth Kline.

 


 

 

The winners of these contests will be seeded accordingly for their games in week 10 against Greater Spokane league teams. The Cascade Conference will be the higher seeded teams.
