Here are the submissions for Friday Night's Best Volume 5. With crossover games starting and and tournament seeding falling in place we are really stoked to see all these great kids doing such amazing things! What a great representation of the level of talent that we have here in Washington! Way to go guys. Keep the Hits, and the big plays coming!

Week 5 Friday Night's Best:

Joe Fuerst; Eisenhower: Joe had a solid performance with 196 yards and two TD's leading his Cadets to remain unbeaten at eight and zero for the season.

Dylan Hudson; Eisenhower: Dylan continues to blow up the holes as FB for Eisenhower high allowing the running game to stay at the top in the league regarding total yards rushing. Dylan also added to the point spread with an interception and 45 yard run to pay dirt for the second score of the game.

Cameron Hunt; Garfield: Cameron Hunt broke the school's single-game rushing record with 212 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries. He was also just offered by Illinois State on Monday

Nick Peterson; Emerald Ridge: Two-way starter and led team in tackles playing DE -- 2 solos and 8 assists. High motor and never gave up.

Dalton Mendenhall; Rogers: Dalton Mendenhall had 7 sacks.

Shane Brady; Woodland: Scored only touchdown of the game. Ended with 150 yards receiving on 11 catches. 2 forced fumbles and 8 tackles.

Nick deGrasse; Nooksack Valley: Nick rushed 8 times for 141 yards, including a school-record 90-yard TD run. He also caught a pass for a 61 yard touchdown.

Anthony Reese; Nooksack Valley: Anthony had 12 receptions, a school-record, for 176 yards and two TDs.

Brandon Reiter; Kentridge: Brandon had 10 tackles including 2 for loss, with one MONSTER hit coming in the last minute of the game, plus he made a 34yd 1 handed catch. Kentwood ran 43 plays, so Brandon Reiter had almost 25 % of his teams tackles.

Dylan McDougal; Montesano: He had at least 3 Quarterback sacks and numerous tackles.

Josh Tyler; Montesano: Another great game for this QB. 2 TD's 157 yards passing and great game management. This kid has a canon and is very accurate.


These were just a few of the stories from last week! This showcase will continue throughout the year and we will do a best of the best at seasons end! Thanks to all the fans who supported their players and teams by sending in these great players and efforts.
